Very good very casual little family run Mexican restaurant at the end of a short dirt road. Secretos del Jardin is a simple place with a dirt floor Ander a thatched roof surrounded by produce and floweer gardens and fruit trees. The garden and fruit trees provide fruits and vegetables for the kitchen. In the high season from November until May theyhost an open air market on Saturdays. Vendors sell produce, fresh fish, artesanias and tradicional foods. Although the furniture is all plastic it is a very relaxing asnd confortable place to pick back and enjoy mature over a good meal.
Breakfast is simple: eggs prepared any style to your taste, omelets, hotcakes, quesadillas and chilaquiles. Lunch plates, again simple incluye gorditas, enchiladas with a salad, burritos with papaya salad, sopes, tostadas and organic salads. The food is fresh and flavorful and the prices are reasonable. The beverage selection is limited as well. They offer coffee, orange juice, lemonade, jamaica (hibiscus) water, smoothies, tea and cervesa.
