This exclusive little gallery opened in 1991 and was the creation of Paula, who along with Ezio owns the Cafa Santa Fe, perhaps Todos Santos's finest restaurant. The gallery has gone through many changes through time. It started as a gallery of fine art and through time has come to represent more functional art in the form of hand crafted art from all parts of Mexico. Every piece has been carefully selected with taste to satisfy the most discriminating person.
The gallery carries a line of particularly well made and hand crafted palo de arco furniture. They carry a beautiful line of textile goods that are all hand made by a women's coop in Chiapas. All the textile articles are well made and support the women indigenous artists from the state of Chiapas. Among the many fine well crafted works are a large number of pieces created from recycled materials. They are very creative. Wire baskets made from telephone wire. Purses made from candy wrappers and interesting works created using soda cans. Every thing is selected to be representative of the creative minds and talents of the Mexican artisans.
