In Todos Santos one can enjoy many activities from shopping and gallery walking to extreme surfing, surf fishing to exploring the surrounding countryside, pueblos and mountains. Local tour companies offer kayaking, eco-tours, and hikes into the nearby Sierra Laguna mountains.
In little over an hours drive away, one can visit Cabo San Lucas, the near ghost gold mining towns of Triunfo and San Antonio; and La Paz, the Sea of Cortez’s “Puerto de Illusion” (Port of Illusion).
Todos Santos regularly hosts art, film, jazz, reggae and Latin music festivals. In recent years New York plays and film festivals have been held in the towns historic theater. Joan Baez put on an impromptu set at a local cantina one night a while back causing the fifty or so amazed folks there – to have sixties flashbacks. It’s not unusual for superstars to slip in and out of Todos Santos - the home to Hotel California.
A regional baseball stadium exists near town center where many popular local sporting events are held ranging from moto-cross races to baseball and soccer games. Horse, mountain bike and car rentals are available.

The Profesor Nestor Agundez Cultural Centre located two blocks up Benito Juarez from the Hotel California has a historical library, gallery, ongoing cultural activities, workshops and a museum of local history and anthropology.
One can explore secluded beaches, extinct volcanoes, camp, sea kayak, whale watch, visit sea lion rookeries, explore the colonial town, get out the paint brushes or notebook and get creative in this village and it all seems the natural thing to do. This “Pueblo Magico” inspires adventurers, romantics and artists alike.
